CHAIR YOGA FOR BALANCE AND STRENGTH
Let's age gracefully... and on our feet! All postures in this class will be done in a chair or standing - no floor work.
The class will contain full body stretching, postures to strengthen the upper and lower body along with balance enhancing postures. A chair (non-rolling is recommended), blocks (or books), a strap (or belt) and a blanket (or towel) will be u sed in most classes. Each class will be 45-50 minutes in length with 10-15 minutes at the end for any questions regarding the postures covered in class.
We spend time learning the fundamental components of alignment and breath that weave in and out of the practice for the beginner to the advanced. Slow-paced, detailed instruction. For students who are new to yoga and those who have yoga experience but are looking to strengthen the foundations of their practice.
GOOD OL' YOGA
Sometimes a class doesn't need a fancy description because it is just Good Ol' Yoga - moving the body with awareness and in coordination with breath. Asanas that blend stretch, strength, mobility, balance, and awareness. For students of all levels.
YOGA FOR STRENGTH
An energizing class that offers a combination of sustained, strengthening postures to challenge physical and mental limits. Postures may include arm balances and inversions. This class assumes that students have cultivated prior training in yoga where the relationship between breath and movement is understood.
