Why "Singing with Nature's Heart Beat" ?
🍁 Connect with our bodies in a safe and nurturing environment
🍁 Singing, with the intention to express rather than to impress, melts mental and physical tension away, calms the nervous system, and rebalances our entire state of being
🍁 Drop into the heart-center; connect with ourselves, Nature, and loved ones ( the day is designed for individuals, couples, families, and youth)
🍁 Enjoy a creative and sensory-integrated experience; let the vibration of singing arise naturally to transmute mental critical voice
🍁 Allow your authentic voice to be heard, shared, and loved as it is
🍁 Learn simple, beautiful songs from around the world that celebrate Earth
🍁 Experience the power of songs with melodies, but no words - a direct language from the heart without divides
🍁 Celebrate new connections found through singing and co-creating in a special retreat space
🍁 Integrate this experience back into daily life with gained confidence and somatic reference to give (express) and receive (listen) from your core

About the facilitator :
My name - Liangyeh - means "compassion and shimmering light" in Mandarin. I was born in Taiwan and moved to the United States at age 15. I studied music at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, as well as in various European countries. Since international travel began at a young age for me, I have always been looking for the commonalities that weave our humanity together. We all breath. We all share the impulse to communicate our inner worlds. We all respond to love, joy and well-being. Most of us desire to be accepted and understood as who we truly are in our most relaxed state of being. When it comes to expressing oneself through sound and music, I have always been drawn towards genuine authenticity. I look for "the truth of the heart" in each voice, that part of us when heard and acknowledged, it makes us feel freer and lighter. My audio receptivity and sensitivity eventually led me to the study of movement, followed by vibrational and energy healing for the past 15 years. Now I integrate my experiences as a performer, educator, healer, and mother to facilitate embodied and empowered vocal expressions for others. I led workshops at the Crochet Mountain Foundation and Hospital, New Hampshire; The Girls Inc., Massachusetts; The Santa Fe Opera, New Mexico; The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, New Mexico; and recently for the Open Space and Mountain Parks, City of Boulder, Colorado. Dances of Universal Peace

Have you ever noticed how taking a walk, doing yoga, or tai chi or other exercises can seem to change your thought patterns and even help you suddenly have an answer to a problem you've been ruminating for hours even days?
This is also what happens when you join a circle of welcoming people gathered for the peace dances doing repetitive chants that reflect values that cross all religions.

We are happy to welcome back Jyoti and Yusuf from a retreat with Tansen to gather us in Estes Park for sacred dance. Jyoti is anticipating leading “Mother earth is a great, great ship that we are sailing on. Touch the earth , feel your worth.” Other dances include “Tane Mahuta” and “Drink with the Beloved”. Some dances are slow and soulful, others are energetic and spirited. No previous experience is required by those attending this circle of compassionate community.

The dances are offered by donation; No one is denied joining in these interfaith practices with the repetition of sacred phrases and heartfelt movements. Please bring water to revive you after the exuberant dances; also, refrain from wearing fragrances, as some people have sensitivities.

The Dances are held every third Saturday of the month at Estes Park Yoga, Park Place Mall, 145 East Elkhorn. Call Linda Bensey at 970-214-7719 for more information.

Kirtan

Kirtan is a musical experience that is based on ancient chants and has the ability to quiet the mind if listened to with intention. The wallah (leader) sings the mantra and the audience sings it back. As you sing with each other you experience a deep connection with the musicians, other participants, and yourself. When the music stops, your mind is quiet.

Free, donations accepted for musicians.
